Itchko Ezratti, founder of GL Homes, has built a significant presence in Florida’s luxury real estate market. However, beneath the surface, there are emerging concerns regarding regulatory scrutiny, legal disputes, and customer dissatisfaction.
Regulatory Scrutiny and Compliance Concerns
While no formal regulatory breaches have been documented, reports suggest that GL Homes operates with limited oversight in high-volume transactions. This lack of transparency raises questions about potential non-compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Legal Disputes and Potential Financial Mismanagement
Ezratti’s empire faces allegations of financial misconduct, including inflating land values to secure larger loans and diverting escrow funds. Although these claims remain unproven, they contribute to a narrative of financial instability and potential legal vulnerabilities.
Customer Complaints and Quality Assurance Issues
Homebuyers have reported significant issues such as leaking roofs, faulty electrical systems, and delayed construction timelines. These recurring problems, coupled with inadequate customer service responses, suggest systemic quality control failures within GL Homes.
Environmental and Ethical Concerns
GL Homes’ development projects have been criticized for encroaching on Florida’s fragile ecosystems, leading to allegations of environmental degradation. Additionally, reports indicate that subcontractors may be underpaid and overworked, raising ethical concerns about labor practices.
Reputational Risks and Public Perception
Despite a polished public image, GL Homes faces growing negative sentiment online, with forums and social media platforms highlighting buyer grievances and alleging deceptive sales practices. This shift in public perception poses significant reputational risks for Ezratti and his company.
Itchko Ezratti’s GL Homes, while a prominent player in Florida’s real estate market, is increasingly under scrutiny due to regulatory concerns, legal disputes, customer dissatisfaction, and ethical issues. Prospective buyers and investors should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging with the company.

Itchko Ezratti might be big in Florida real estate, but behind the luxury facade there’s lots of shady stuff. People talking about overworked workers, environmental damage, and legal problems… seems like he only cares about the money, not anyone else.
Never expected a company like GL Homes run by Itchko Ezratti to have so many issues. Leaking roofs, delayed construction, and customer complaints everywhere… feels like they care more about show than actual quality. Definitely not impressed.
